Bracco Group consolidates industry relations and develops strategic alliances at Expo 2020 in Dubai

In Dubai, the Bracco Group has enjoyed a full agenda of institutional and industrial meetings within a perspective of innovation, the circular economy and taking the regional heritage global. The first was the meeting of young people on 25 February in the Millennials Meet the Futuro project, which is backed by the inter-university Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi. It provided a golden opportunity to highlight key issues for this group that supports education and professional training for young people.

As Fabrizio Grillo, General Affairs and International Relations Director at the Bracco Group noted, the purpose of the meeting was "to inspire young people entering the worlds of university and work, providing them with guidance and facilitating their searching. Diversity stimulates innovation and improves performance, and I believe it is a positive factor for change. The Bracco Group has always supported education and professional training for young people, especially through the foundation. Many initiatives fall under the umbrella of the Bracco foundation's multi-year Diventerò project, which focuses on helping deserving young people in their education and professional training in a range of areas."

In terms of the institutional meetings, the Bracco Group and Cluster Alisei also worked with the delegations from Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Lombardy Regional Administration at the Italy Pavilion on 26 February when the beauty of Italian regions was the theme. In more specific terms, this meant speaking about innovation, internationalisation and the attractiveness of these territories in relation to healthcare across the country.

The delegation from the Lombardy Regional Administration was headed by the Regional Minister for Education, Universities, Research, Innovation and Simplification, Fabrizio Sala, who also met Cheng Zhouhao - head of foreign relations at the China Pavilion. "Research and innovation are the pillars of future development," explained the Regional Minister Fabrizio Sala. "Through these missions we hope to make Lombardy an international example for industries like scientific research, life sciences and sustainability. To achieve this, we must continue to work as a system and in synergy with our universities, research centres and with our leading businesses, such as the Bracco Group." The delegation was also able to visit the South Korea and Morocco Pavilions, while also giving special attention to the Museum of the Future, located in the financial heart of Dubai and inaugurated on 22 February past by the Emir and Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.  "Precisely three years after the joint visit in 2019, we are pleased to admire the beauty of the Museum of the Future in Dubai, which takes us 50 years into the future with amazing models and images ranging from space technologies, to those for health. As a Group, we are proud to engage once more with the Future District Foundation about topics of mutual interest, such as life sciences, precision diagnostics and artificial intelligence," added Fabrizio Grillo, General Affairs and International Relations Director at the Bracco Group.
