Bracco Suisse marks its 30th anniversary with the laying of the foundation stone of the new facility in Geneva

Amid celebrations marking the thirtieth anniversary of Bracco Suisse, the first stone of a new multipurpose building was laid that will enlarge the plant, doubling the Geneva-based factory’s manufacturing capacity.

"It’s an important investment", stated Diana Bracco, "amounting to more than 60 million euros, and it reflects our steadfast confidence in this production site. Moreover, the proximity of the manufacturing facility to the research and development unit has been an essential factor driving the success of Bracco Suisse".

"This site represents one of the Group’s key assets", emphasised Fulvio Renoldi Bracco. "We have over a hundred highly skilled people here, and the products that leave this site go to more than 35 countries all over the world".

Also taking part in the ceremony, in addition to Diana Bracco and Fulvio Renoldi Bracco, were the Mayor of the Xavier Magnin District, the State Councillor of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, Pierre Maudet, H.E. Ambassador Gian Lorenzo Cortado, the Permanent Representative to the International Organisations based in Geneva, and Benoit Dubuis, Director of the Fondation Campus Biotech Geneva (FCGB) and Development Director of the Wyss Center.
